 Windows XP & Vista - Changing Desktop Icon Size |

Vista: Method One
1) Right click the desktop
2) Hover over view, and select Large Icons, Medium Icons, or Classic Icons.
Vista: Method Two
Also if you use a mouse, you can hold the CTRL key (You may need to also press and hold the right mouse button with some older mouse models.) and move your mouse wheel up or down to make the icons smaller or larger, to ANY SIZE. Then release the CTRL key and you're now done.
XP:
1) Right click your desktop, and select Properties
2) Click the Appearance Tab
3) Click the Advanced button
4) In the Item drop down menu change it from Desktop to Icon. Then change the size to what fits your needs.
