When you uninstall this specific piece of software, and you go to download lets say an executable installation file for example. You'll still have the FlashGet thing there (For Firefox), so I'm gonna show you how to get rid of it.
First off to go Tools>Addons and Disable the flashget3 Extension. Then navigate to C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\extensions\{DB9127A2-3381-41ec-82B3-1B6ED4C6F29A}\components and delete the 2 files below. FlashgetXpi.dll IFlashgetXpi.dll Now navigate to C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\extensions\{DB9127A2-3381-41ec-82B3-1B6ED4C6F29A}\chrome and delete FlashGet3.jar Now navigate to C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\components and delete FlashGet3.xpi Next open up Registry Editor, and go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>Software and delete FlashGet Network It should now be successfully removed. |
