ScreenToaster is a nice screen recording program, cause not only can you record from your desktop you can record from your mic (adding audio, and can adjust the volume), and/or record your webcam.
You can record in full screen, or just a selection of the desktop, and the best thing I like about this is the fact that you don't haft to download any software, and it's compatible with Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux.
It gives you the size of the file, and how long the video is while it's recording (Duration).
You can save the recorded video to your desktop as .mov or .swf, and it's always in HD (High Definition) quality.
You can also upload it to ScreenToaster, and/or to your YouTube Channel as well.
