Rename the folder/application or w/e to just a space, so take out ALL the text and hit the spacebar, and then enter.

Next download this transparent png as we need it to make are icon(s) invisible. (When viewing the image go to file-save page as and it'll save)

Now right click your icon(s), and go to Properties, and head to the basic tab if not already there, and click on the icon image next to the name.

Browse for the image you've just downloaded, and enable it as it's icon image.

You've now just made it invisible.

If you want to open/rename/delete it, but forgot where it's positioned, just hit CTRL+A and the text should get highlighted.
