TEXT TUTORIAL

NOTICE: You will need InstantStorm in this for this tutorial.

Part 1 "The Files"

Now before we do anything, you will haft to get a file, or make a file, (If you made one skip to part 2) and convert it to a flash .swf file (if not already one). (You can convert any images/animations with Flash CS3 Pro, SwishMax, or using a great website called Media-Convert.)

If you're going to use a video from youtube you will need to download it. (Click Here: to learn how to download youtube videos.

NOTE: Make sure you convert it to a .swf though

Tip: When viewing certain files like .mp3, .swf, .wmv, .mp3 and much more. There's an easy/simple way to download thoughs files.

Simply go to File-Save Page As and set the name to whatever you wish, and save the file where ever you wish.

Part 2 "The Final Touches"
Now once you've converted the file to an swf you will need to open up InstantStorm. (it's a free program, that converts swf files to screensavers)

Now you need to give your Screensaver a title, then find your swf file in browse.

Now choose how you want your screensaver displayed on your pc, by messing with the Scale.

Tip: In Scale, When you check 100%. It makes the swf file stretched to the whole resolution set on your PC.

Now if you choose to mess with the other stuff, once your done go to Publishing, and click on Create. Now save it to where ever you wish and set the name to whatever you wish.

Now double click the application you created (The .exe file) Make sure you allow it and install it.

NOTICE: If you have ThreatFire you will get a popup that says ALERT, simply Ignore that, and click on "Allow this process to continue" then proceed.

You've now made yourself a screensaver. thumbup
